What is MindMeister? 

MindMeister is an online application that allows its users to create and share their thoughts by mind mapping. Through the usage of this application, people can present their ideas with mind maps and take notes while studying.


What is a Mind Map?

A Mind Map is an easy way to organize thoughts, tasks, words, concepts, or items and display them in a diagram. A Mind Map allows people to visually see their work and help them to analyze and recall the ideas that they have about a specific topic. 


Educational Use?

When you prepare mind maps while studying a subject, it will help your brain’s functionality and memory system to work efficiently. It will stimulate and challenge you to analyze and recall the topics that you studied when you take a look at your mind maps again.

Here is an example that I prepared in my Instructional Technology class. It is about the meaning of learning and its theories.

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog! I have talked about the Quizlet platform, its limitations, and how and where to use it in my earlier post. However, today I want to share the activity that I prepared for fourth graders and give you a simple guideline for you to create your own activities. First of all, if you do not have an account on Quizlet, you should open one in order to be able to create activities on Quizlet.  Then you should click on the 'Create' button.  After clicking, it will allow you to start creating your study set as you can see in my activity:  Later you can start to write your terms, vocabulary, grammar rules, or the things that you want to use in your class.
